The Chasam Sofer validates the Rav of Semlin's refusal to deliver a non-me'ureh get, since no explanatory letter accompanied it justifying the deviation. He endorses the Beis Shmuel's position that me'ureh is required outside igun cases, criticizing the Taz, and tentatively rules that the husband's financial stipulation did not void the agency since it was not formalized in the harsha'ah.
