From: Rabbi Moshe Sofer
To: Gross Sankt Miklós
The Chasam Sofer rules that a get from Gross Sankt Miklós is valid bedieved: the variation between 'Nickel' and 'Miklós' is not problematic as both are standard names for the same city in different languages, and the absence of a river is acceptable since no genuine river exists there. However, he maintains his objection to the bare formulation 'in Banat' without specifying 'in the district of Banat, in the Hungarian lands,' and admonishes the correspondent to be more careful in future.
