He ruled on the evidentiary weight of unsigned ledger entries, the invalidity of the release granted by co-leaders without the required stakeholder consent, the reimbursability of various expenses, and the offsetting of cross-debts via drabbah d'Rabbi Nasan. He decisively rejected the Shach's position on mutual debts, noting the Shach was unaware of the Ramah in the Shitah Mekubetzes, and concluded that the head must take a solemn oath regarding several disputed amounts.
