Rabbi Tzvi Yehuda HaKohen Kook was the Rosh Yeshiva of Mercaz HaRav yeshiva in Jerusalem and the only son of Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak HaKohen Kook. He dedicated his life to teaching, disseminating his father’s writings, and shaping students who integrated intensive Torah study with commitment to the State of Israel and Jewish settlement. His published teachings, including Li-Netivot Yisrael and edited volumes of his father’s works, systematized this ideological synthesis for the Religious Zionist community.
