Rabbi Rabbi Zevulun Leib Barit was the Rav and head of the rabbinical court in Plungian, Lithuania, during the late 19th century. A supporter of the Mussar movement, he contributed a well-known letter of approbation to the 1892 work Shivat Tzion in support of settling the Land of Israel. Two of his scholarly articles were posthumously published in 1906 by his son-in-law, Rabbi Dov Moshe Namyot, in the sefer Sefer Divrei Moshe.
