Rabbi Yosef Nechemiah Kornitzer was the Av Beis Din and Chief Rabbi of Kraków, Poland, serving from 1925 until his death in 1933. The son of Rabbi Akiva Kornitzer and grandson of Rabbi Shimon Sofer, who had also served as rav of Kraków, he was the community's second-to-last chief rabbi before World War II.
