Rabbi Yitzchak Eizik Chaver was a Lithuanian kabbalist and Talmudist who became a leading expositor of the Vilna Gaon's mystical school. He authored Pithei Shearim, a systematic introduction to Lurianic Kabbalah in the tradition of the Gaon, alongside the philosophical Magen v'Tzinah and numerous halachic works.
