Rabbi Yehuda Herzl Henkin was an American-born Religious Zionist posek who settled in Israel and became a leading Modern Orthodox halachic authority. He authored the multi-volume responsa Benei Banim and additional works in Hebrew and English on halacha, Torah commentary, and Jewish though. His halachic writings, especially on contemporary issues and women's roles in Orthodoxy, received wide recognition across diverse rabbinic circles.
