Rabbi Yechiel ben Shlomo Heilprin was a Lithuanian rabbi, kabbalist, and chronicler, who served as the communal rabbi of Minsk and head of its yeshiva. His major work, Seder HaDoros, is a multi-part historical and bibliographical chronicle of Jewish history, rabbinic figures, and sefarim from Creation to his own era. He also authored Erchei HaKinnuyim, a lexical work on terms in Tanach, Talmud, and kabbalistic literature, alongside additional writings in rabbinics and Kabbalah.
