Biography

Rabbi Yaakov Lorberbaum was a Polish halachic authority who served as rabbi in communities such as Lissa and Stryi. He authored Nesivos HaMishpat, a commentary on Shulchan Arukh Choshen Mishpat, which became a foundational text for advanced study. His work Chavas Daas on Yoreh De'ah is also a classic of halachic literature.
