Rabbi Shmuel Rozovsky was a Rosh Yeshiva at the Ponevezh Yeshiva in Bnei Brak. A student of Rabbi Shimon Shkop, his analytical lectures on Talmud were characterized by their depth and clarity. His novellae and lectures were posthumously published as Chiddushei R' Shmuel and Shiurei R' Shmuel.
