Rabbi Shlomo Polachek, known as the "Meitcheter Illui," was a student of Rabbi Chaim Soloveitchik. He served as a Rosh Yeshiva at the Rabbi Yitzchak Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS) in New York. His chiddushim were posthumously published in Chiddushei HaIllui MiMeitchit.
