Rabbi Pinchas Hirschprung was a posek and Rosh Yeshiva who served as Chief Rabbi of Montreal. He was also appointed Rosh Yeshiva of Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitch. He is known for Fun Nazishen Yamertal: Zikhroines fun a Palit, his wartime memoir detailing his escape from Nazi-occupied Europe and the conditions of Jewish survival in wartime Asia.
