Rabbi Nosson Tzvi Finkel, known as the Alter of Slabodka, was a central figure in the Mussar movement, establishing the Slabodka school which emphasized Gadlus HaAdam (the greatness of man). His yeshiva educated many significant Torah leaders of the 20th century.
