Rabbi Nosson Tzvi Finkel was an American-born Rosh Yeshiva who led the Mir Yeshiva in Yerushalayim. During his leadership, he oversaw its expansion into one of the largest yeshivos in the world. His intensive hasmadah, personal engagement with thousands of talmidim, and organizational stewardship of the Mir left a lasting imprint on the contemporary Lithuanian yeshiva world.
