Rabbi Nosson of Breslov was the foremost disciple, scribe, and organizer of the Breslov movement under Rabbi Nachman of Breslov. He is primarily known for Likutei Halachos and for preserving, publishing, and disseminating Rabbi Nachman’s teachings after his death. He also served as the de facto leader of the Breslov Chassidim without assuming the title of Rebbe.
