Rabbi Naftali Trop served as Rosh Yeshiva in Radin alongside Rabbi Yisrael Meir Kagan. His analytical approach to Talmudic study influenced the Lithuanian yeshiva world. His lectures and novellae were posthumously published by his students as Chiddushei HaGranat.
