Rabbi Nachum Eliezer Rabinovitch was a posek and Religious Zionist thinker. As Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivat Birkat Moshe in Ma’ale Adumim and a former professor of mathematics, he combined Torah scholarship with academic training. His multi-volume commentary Yad Peshutah and his responsa and essays shaped contemporary Religious Zionist halachic discourse, including his leadership in the independent conversion framework Giyur K’Halacha.
