Rabbi Moshe Mordechai Epstein was a Rosh Yeshiva of the Slabodka Yeshiva, which he later relocated to Hebron. His work, Levush Mordechai, is a collection of his responsa and novellae on the Talmud. He was a figure in the Mussar movement and a leader of Lithuanian Jewry.
