Rabbi Moshe Lima was a leading Lithuanian posek who served as Rav of Brest-Litovsk, Slonim, and Vilna, where he was appointed Chief Rabbi in 1650. His primary work, Chelkas Mechokek on Even HaEzer, became one of the standard commentaries on the Shulchan Aruch and is printed alongside it.
