Biography

Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, known as the Lubavitcher Rebbe, led the Chabad dynasty as its seventh Rebbe from 770 Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn. His teachings, sichos, letters, and maamarim, published in hundreds of volumes including Likkutei Sichos and Igros Kodesh, systematized Chabad Chassidus for the modern era and addressed a wide range of halachic, hashkafic, and contemporary issues. Under his leadership, Chabad developed a global network of shluchim and institutions dedicated to harbatzas haTorah and Jewish outreach.
