Biography

Rabbi Menachem Mendel Kasher was a halachist and prolific author known for his encyclopedic compilations of rabbinic literature. His magnum opus, Torah Sheleimah, systematically collects all Talmudic and Midrashic sources relevant to each verse of the Torah, spanning over thirty volumes by 1981. He also composed HaTekufah HaGedolah, defending the Zionist enterprise as the onset of redemption against anti-Zionist critiques.
