Rabbi Rabbi Meir Eisenstaedter, known as the Maharam Asch, was a Hungarian rabbi and posek who led Orthodox communities in the 19th century. He is primarily known for his collection of responsa, Imre Esh, which was published posthumously by his son. He served as rav and rosh yeshiva in Ungvar, where Rabbi Shlomo Ganzfried, author of the Kitzur Shulchan Aruch, served as a dayan.
