Rabbi Meir Chadash was a mashgiach and mussar educator in the Hebron Yeshiva and its successor in Jerusalem. A talmid of Rabbi Nosson Tzvi Finkel in Slabodka, he served for decades as mashgiach in the Chevron Yeshiva, transmitting the Slabodka mussar tradition to generations of talmidim. His teachings and letters, later collected by talmidim, continued to influence the Mussar-oriented Lithuanian yeshiva tradition.
