Rabbi Gedaliah Schorr was a rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas Torah Vodaath in Brooklyn and a major American Torah leader associated with the growth of postwar yeshiva education. He was also the author of Or Gedalyahu, a collected work of his derashos and Torah thought, and he became identified with the leadership of Torah Vodaath for much of his career.
