Rabbi Dov Schwartzman was a Russian-born rosh yeshiva who founded and led Yeshivas Bais HaTalmud in the Sanhedria Murchevet neighborhood of Jerusalem for over four decades. A talmid of the Hebron Yeshiva, he also co-founded the Talmudical Yeshiva of Philadelphia with Rabbi Shmuel Kamenetzky. He also served as a rosh yeshiva at Ohr Somayach, a pioneering institution for baalei teshuva in Israel.
