Rabbi Dov Schwartzman was a Rosh Yeshiva in the post-war Lithuanian yeshiva world. He headed Yeshivas Bais HaTalmud in Yerushalayim for several decades, shaping its style of advanced Talmud study. Earlier, he co-founded the Talmudical Yeshiva of Philadelphia and helped establish one of the first Israeli yeshivos for baalei teshuva.
