Rabbi David Deutsch was a Hungarian rabbi and author, a student of Rabbi Yechezkel Landau. He served as rabbi in several communities, including Jamnitz, Frauenkirchen, and Szerdahely, before becoming rabbi of Waag-Neustadt (Nové Mesto nad Váhom) from 1810 until his death. His primary work, Ohel David, contains novellae on various Talmudic tractates.
