Rabbi Chaim Mordechai Katz was a Rosh Yeshiva of the Telshe Yeshiva and a central figure in the postwar rebuilding of Lithuanian Torah leadership in America. An alumnus of Telshe, he later became one of its re-founders in Cleveland, Ohio. He is associated with the continuation of Telshe’s method and with the preservation of its Torah tradition.
