Rabbi Rabbi Chaim ben Attar was a Moroccan rabbi and kabbalist who led several yeshivas. He is known primarily for his commentary on the Chumash, Ohr HaChaim. He eventually settled in Jerusalem, where he founded the Midrash Knesset Yisrael yeshiva and is buried on the Mount of Olives.
