Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heschel was a posek and rosh yeshiva in Poland-Lithuania who served in both Lublin and Kraków. He is the author of the work Chanukat HaTorah. In 1654, he was appointed chief rabbi and rosh yeshiva of Kraków, succeeding Rabbi Yom Tov Lipmann Heller.
