Rabbi Avraham Grodzinski was the Mashgiach Ruchani and last Rosh Yeshiva of the Slabodka Yeshiva in Lithuania, and was a primary disciple of Rabbi Nosson Tzvi Finkel, the Alter of Slabodka. His mussar discourses were collected and published posthumously in the sefer Toras Avraham. After helping to establish the yeshiva's branch in Hebron in 1925, he returned to lead the yeshiva in Europe and remained with his students in the Kovno Ghetto until he was murdered in the Holocaust.
