Rabbi Avraham Dovid Wahrman was a Galician posek and Chassidic rabbi who served in Yazlovets and later in Buchach. He authored numerous works, many published posthumously, including the commentary Eshel Avraham on Shulchan Aruch, Orach Chayim, and Da'at Kedoshim on Yoreh De'ah. A disciple of Chassidic leaders including Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev and Rabbi Moshe Leib of Sassov, he himself became an influential figure in the movement.
