Rabbi Avigdor Miller was an American rabbi, author, and lecturer who served as a communal rav in Brooklyn and as mashgiach at Yeshiva Rabbi Chaim Berlin. He authored numerous books in English, including his early work Rejoice O Youth, and delivered thousands of recorded lectures on a wide range of Torah topics. A talmid of the Slabodka yeshiva in Lithuania under Rabbi Yitzchak Sher, he was known for his mussar-based approach, which he taught for decades from his pulpit in Brooklyn.
